SAN FRANCISCO, September 28, (THEWILL) – An Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Zamfara state, Emmanuel Adeniyi, has been abducted by unknown gunmen alongside members of his family.
The incident occurredon Wednesdaywhen the police officer, serving in Gusau, Zamfara state capital, was travelling to Kaduna state with his family.
Adeniyi’s car was stopped by the gunmen who ordered him and his family members into another vehicle and whisked them away.
The Commissioner of Police Zamfara state, Shaba Alkali, confirmed the incident but said he was still waiting for more information.
