BEVERLY HILLS, October 02, (THEWILL) – The Chief of Policy and Plans, Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General Lateef Adeosun has pledged the total support and commitment of the army to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
Adeosu while inaugurating participants of the Strategic Management and Policy Studies course 3, said “the 3rd batch of participants for the Strategic Management and Policy Studies was organized by the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja”. He added that “participants are drawn from the Nigerian Military, ministries, department and agencies of government with the aim at looking at security from other perspectives.”
On his part, the Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General G.A Wahab said the course will enable participants to analyze and proffer solutions to current security challenges in the country.
The Director, who expressed sadness over the low number of women participants was optimistic that with time, more women will register for the programme. “The effectiveness of the course is in areas of policy formulation and in helping both military and civilians understand policy decisions”, he added.
