Amusan raced to victory with a remarkable time of 12.34 seconds, breaking the meeting record in the process. Her electrifying performance saw her narrowly edge out former record holder, Keni Harrison, who crossed the line in 12.35 seconds. Nia Ali, the newly crowned US champion, secured third place with a time of 12.38 seconds.

This exceptional achievement not only marks Amusan’s fastest time this season, but also equals Jasmine Camacho-Quinn’s meeting record, catapulting her to the top of the Diamond League standings. Amusan’s victory is her second consecutive win in the Diamond League, following her triumph in Stockholm, and she now holds a seven-point lead over Camacho-Quinn in the overall rankings.
