SAN FRANCISCO, July 04, (THEWILL) – Last week, there was a bit of drama between actress Kate Henshaw and comedian Akpororo for using her name and image to promote his upcoming show – ‘Akpororo vs Akpororo’. She had called the comedian out on social media for not getting her permission before including her name as host for the show scheduled to hold on Friday, July 8th.
Not long after, the funny man responded with a public apology addressed to Kate attributing the error to a misunderstanding.
However, it seems all is well between both parties going by Kate manager, FunkeKuti’s telephone conversation with Sunday Scoop.
She revealed that Kate had forgiven Akpororo and will even attend his show. According to her, Kate is a big sister to Akpororo and he has been forgiven.
“The apology has been accepted. It was a misunderstanding. She has forgiven him. She will be at the show. One thing Kate does is, she supports and encourage up-and-coming entertainers. She is a big sister to him.”
