Algerian Star Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Sidelined In Super Eagles Friendly

BEVERLY HILLS, October 03, (THEWILL) – Algerian defender Ilyes Chetti will not be available for the soccer friendlies against Nigeria and Mexico after he tested positive for coronavirus.

Chetti who plays for Esperance in Tunisia will be on self-isolation for at least 40-days as Algerian coach, Djamel Belmadi, is scheduled to present the list of players available for the games this weekend.

THEWILL reports that Algeria will play Nigeria on October 9 at Jacques Lehmans Arena, Austria and then play Mexico four days later in the Netherlands.
