SAN FRANCISCO, October 07, (THEWILL) – Governor Godswill Akpabio has sacked three commissioners and a Special Adviser from the state’s executive council with immediate effect.
A statement signed by the commissioner for information and communication, Mr. Aniekan Umanah, Monday, listed the casualties as Mr. Austin Mbeh – Commissioner for Transport; Mr. Sunny Anyang – Commissioner for Economic Development; Mr. Martyns Udoinyang -Commissioner for Commerce and Industry; and Mr. Samuel Frank – Special Adviser, Youth & Sports.
“His Excellency, the Governor thanks the former members of the State Executive Council for their services to the State and wishes them success in their future endeavours.
“The Governor has also approved the replacement of Mr. Asuquo Oboho, Commissioner in the State Civil Service Commission who passed on recently. Consequently the name of Mr. Etim Sam Akaiso Okpo has been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for clearance,” the statement added.
