August 18, (THEWILL) – The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, held a closed-door meeting with governors on the platform of the party in Abuja.
The meeting is coming less than 24 hours after Tinubu met with former President, Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.
Governors on the party platform, who came for the meeting, include Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Kano State governor, Abdulai Ganduje; Dave Umahi of Ebonyi; Aminu Masari of Katsina, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Hope Uzodimma of Imo and amongst others.
While details of the meeting remained sketchy, sources say it is not unconnected with the 2023 general elections.
