July 08, (THEWILL) – At least 13 persons have been kidnapped in Ungwan Gimbiya community of Sabo in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident happened late Wednesday night at about 11pm.
A security source in the area said about six persons, including a landlord and his tenants, were kidnapped from one house.
This is coming barely 48 hours after over 120 students of Bethel Baptist High School in Maraban Rido in the same council were abducted on Monday.
Meanwhile, residents in their numbers on Thursday morning took to the ever-busy Sabon Tasha-Kachia road to protest the attack. The protesters blocked the road, causing a massive traffic gridlock.
The protesters resisted all efforts by security personnel to pacify them to leave the road.
