July 06, (THEWILL) – RB Leipzig midfielder, Tyler Adams and Feyenoord forward, Luis Sinisterra, are due to have their medicals ahead of moves to the English Premier League side Leeds United.
The Whites have been working hard to strengthen their team after narrowly securing Premier League safety on the final day of the previous campaign. They are also trying to replace the void left by the departures of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha soon. Although Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, and Darko Gyabi have already joined Jesse Marsch’s team this summer, medicals for Sinisterra and Adams have also been scheduled.
Following an agreement on a £25 million transfer price with UEFA Europa Conference League runners-up Feyenoord, Colombian international Sinisterra is on track to create a new club transfer record for Leeds. For the Rotterdam club last season, the 23-year-old scored 23 goals in 45 games in all competitions.
Adams, a member of the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT), will reunite with Marsch, who was fired from his position as manager of RB Leipzig just a few months into the previous campaign. Leeds, who chose to go after the 23-year-old over Mohamed Camara of Red Bull Salzburg, another former star of Marsch’s, is anticipated to pay roughly £15 million for the midfielder.
Leeds depart for Australia on July 10 for a preseason tour and Sinisterra and Adams are anticipated to be in the squad by then.
