Actress Stella Damasus’ Daughter Wins Obama’s Education Award Over Other US Kids

SAN FRANCISCO, May 28, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress Stella Damasus must be one proud momma right now. The US based actress’s first daughter with late husband Jaiye Aboderin, Angelica, is doing really well academically and has gotten rewarded for it.

Stella took to Instagram, to show off her 16-year-old daughter’s achievement, a President’s Education Award for Educational Excellence in America.

The President’s Award for Educational Excellence is the highest achievement an elementary school student can achieve, according to area principals.

The National Association of Elementary School Principals state the criteria for the President’s Award as grade-point average, high achievement on state or national tests, teacher recommendations and the principal’s approval.
