Abducted Benue Commissioner Ogbu Regains Freedom

December 06, (THEWILL) – The abducted Benue State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Ekpe Ogbu, has regained freedom from his abductors.

Benue State Commissioner of Police, Wale Abass, confirmed his release to newsmen in Makurdi.

Ogbu, along with his driver and two others, were kidnapped at Adankari Junction, along the Otukpo-Ado road, at about 9pm on Sunday.

As at the time of filing this report, details about his release remained sketchy.
