July 22, (THEWILL) – A youth leader from Ofuoma oil-producing community, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Comrade Chris Eriyamremu, has lauded the positive vision by UTM Offshore Limited to build the first $5bn Floating Liquified Natural Gas Project in Nigeria.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving support and approval to the historic $5bn gas project.
Eriyamremu, who is a Peace Mediator and Conflict Resolution Consultant, gave the commendation on Saturday, at Ughelli, Delta State.
He said the signed partnership deal between UTM Offshore Limited and Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), to execute the project was commendable, as the benefits from the project will be enormous.
He congratulated Julius Rone, Managing Director and the entire management of UTM Offshore Limited, for the wonderful vision and determination to build the first $5bn Floating Liquified Natural Gas Project in Nigeria.
“This is historic and it is worth commending because it is coming from an indigenous company, UTM Offshore Limited. It is a huge win for the country’s gas sector.”
