Music icon, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, has requested for the release of one of his colleagues, Ice Prince, who was arrested and detained for assaulting a police officer.
The singer was remanded in Ikoyi Correctional Centre by a magistrate court in Ajah.
He was arraigned on Friday, by the Lagos State Police Command on three counts charge, bordering on assault, obstruction and abduction of a police officer.
2Baba took to Instagram to call for his release.
“@nigeriapolice, it has become a crime to be a young person in this country.
“Every protest and struggle is also for you to have better pay and equipment and proper retirement benefits.
“#FreeIcePrince”, he wrote.
