2023: Wike Storms Cross River For Consultation

April 13, (THEWILL) – Governor of Rivers State, Ezenwo Nyesome Wike, has stormed Calabar, the Cross River State Capital, for a consultative visit.

The visit is aimed at interfacing with delegates and the electorate in the state ahead of the PDP Presidential Primaries.

Governor Wike is accompanied by a strong entourage including former governor of Kebbi State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, as well as a former attorney general of the federation Bello Adoke, SAN.

Thousands of party faithful have congregated at the Pearl BallRoom, Transcorp Hotels for the consultation.

Former governors of the state, Liyel Imoke and Donald Duke, among others including senator representing Cross River Central, Professor Sandy Onor, were on ground to welcome the Rivers State Chief Executive.

About 50 political groups including Reclaim Cross River State, Caterpillar Movement, PDP Renaissance Movement are also part of the event.
