May 09, (THEWILL) – The number of 2023 presidential aspirants running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), rose on Monday, following the purchase of the N100 million Expression of Interest and Nomination forms by Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade.
The form, purchased by groups of supporters, was presented to Ayade on Monday.
Ayade joined the growing number of APC Presidential aspirants, including Senate President Ahmad Lawan, former Lagos governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Petroleum Minister Timipre Sylva, among others, who have received the APC presidential forms from support groups to contest for the presidential primary election of the ruling party, scheduled for 30th and 1st of June.
Ayade had stated after visiting President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House that he had visited to learn from a trusted oracle and was urged by the President to contest.
