February 22, (THEWILL) – The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate for Okigwe South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Michael Asawalam, has assured of effective representation if elected.
The London-based businessman and flagbearer of the party, said this last weekend while interacting with some media practitioners in the State, at the Rockview Hotels, Owerri.
He promised to move motions and sponsor bills in the National Assembly that would affect the lives of the people and impact their lives meaningfully if elected.
“I have employed many youths into my company. Over fifteen nurses have been flown to London to work in their hospitals,” he said.
He pledged to attract jobs for the teeming unemployed youths of the area, as well as health, road projects, agriculture, industries and other things that could make life meaningful for the people.
The candidate urged people of the area to support him and other candidates that are contesting under the umbrella of the NNPP during the coming elections.
Asawalam, therefore, promised to do something different from what his past representatives did during their outing in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.
