June 23, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday, visited former President, Muhammadu Buhari and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq Umar.
Atiku arrived the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport, Katsina, aboard a private jet at about 11:25 am from where he went straight to Daura, the former President’s hometown.
He was accompanied on the visit by former Sokoto State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; former National Secretary of the PDP, Ibrahim Tsauri, party stakeholders and his supporters.

The former vice president also paid a condolence visit on Alhaji Lawal Kaita and Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, over the death of his son.
Speaking with newsmen in Katsina after the visit, Atiku said he paid the former president and the Emir of Daura visit to congratulate them for the successful celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festivity.
