February 26, (THEWILL) – Nollywood thespian, Shan George, has stated that it is impossible to sleep one’s way to stardom.
The beautiful actress made it known in an interview with Punch newspaper. According to her, upcoming actresses should not give themselves to movie directors behind the camera. She added that they cannot sleep their way to stardom, because they wouldn’t be able to defend themselves when it is time to display their talent Infront of the camera. And such a movie act would be dropped and replaced.
She advised upcoming acts to, “read your script religiously and be ready to deliver the roles you are given. I don’t believe all the nonsense about sleeping around to become stars. Sometimes, when I hear these things I laugh. How are you going to sleep around to become a star?
“Where would you start from? You are going to only sleep around to get Infront of the camera, but you cannot deliver, they will just throw you away. There is no way you can sleep your way to the top in this industry.”
Shan George also stated that she hopes to still experience true love very soon. “I am still searching for love please. I am not saved yet. I am still an ‘armed robber’ waiting to be wooed.”
