September 09, (THEWILL) – The Managing Director of the Benue State Investment and Property Company (BIPC), Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, on Monday, said about N700 million has so far been spent on the ongoing beer factory in Makurdi.
Asemakaha disclosed this while fielding questions after his birthday celebration at the BIPC headquarters in Makurdi on Monday, adding that 211 direct and 179 indirect job opportunities have been created for the teeming population through the company.
According to him, in the next 30 days, leather, wrappers and nails production by BIPC will commence.
While thanking God for sound health and the grace to mark another year, the BIPC MD also commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for the opportunity given to him to serve.
He also applauded members of the Correspondents Chapel for identifying with him on the occasion of his birthday, saying he was counting on them to succeed in office.
