July 27, (THEWILL) – At the Women’s World Cup early on Thursday, the US women’s national team showed their resilience in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the Netherlands at Sky Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand.

The team must address their defensive lapses and ensure a cohesive approach to capitalise on their individual talents while the Dutch ladies can seize control of the group leadership with a more clinical display in their last game against Vietnam, which is an easier task.
