SAN FRANCISCO, September 07, (THEWILL) –Â Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have both tested positive for the coronavirus.
The development means both players will not train with the team but will self-isolate in line with UK and Premier League rules.
The club said neither player has shown symptoms of the virus.
Man City will play Wolverhampton Wanderers in their first match when the new season resumes on 21 September.
