Tinubu Mourns Senator Ifeanyi Ubah

July 27, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the family of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

THEWILL had reported earlier that Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, died on Saturday morning in a London hospital three days after arriving in the UK from Abuja on holiday.

Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, who confirmed the death, said Ubah, who was Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream, was in London to attend his son’s graduation.

Morning the renowned businessman and politician, President Tinubu, in a condolence statement issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, commiserated with the friends and colleagues of the late Senator, the National Assembly, and the government and people of Anambra State over this sad loss.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker, as well as for strength and comfort to his family.
