Tinubu Appoints Benjamin-Laniyan FCT Women Affairs Secretary

October 22, (THEWILL) – Following her woeful performance in the 2023 general election where she contested for a seat in the House of Representative on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, master of ceremony, Adedayo Benjamin-Laniyi has now joined the legion of praise singers who have bagged varying kinds of compensation from President Bola Tinubu. She has been appointed the Mandate Secretary for the newly created Women Affairs Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

Justifying her appointment, the presidency said that Benjamin-Laniyi’s exemplary qualifications and dedication to public service alongside her over 35 years of experience as a communications consultant, social entrepreneur, international mentor, and environmentalist, earned her the appointment.

The presidency believes that she will be bringing a wealth of knowledge to her new role and that her appointment will further strengthen the administrative team led by the Federal Capital Territory minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, and the Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud.

Unarguably, one of the best and most sought-after female comperes in Nigeria, Benjamin-Laniyan is known for her sublime skills as a Master of Ceremony. Even though she resides in Abuja, she has been able to spread her tentacles far and wide such that most high-profile events aren’t said to be complete if she isn’t the one compering or is a co-compere. No doubt, she has an undeniable spark and zest which she brings to bear in any event she comperes. Besides being actively involved in politics, the 58-year-old who likes to refer to herself as a ‘Voice’ runs an events management company, Doxa Digital which has since become a motivating force in the capital city of Abuja and beyond.
