The White House has excluded CNN from the press pool travelling with President Donald Trump to Tennessee on Saturday, replacing the network with conservative outlet Real America’s Voice News.
The restoration came after the three news organisations sought an emergency hearing when some of their journalists were denied entry Thursday morning despite the court order.
The development came only hours after U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly issued a 14-day temporary restraining order directing the administration to return, reinstate and restore the White House hard-pass credentials of employees of the three outlets.

The decision breaks with a longstanding system under which the major US television networks rotate responsibility for providing pool coverage of the president and distributing the footage to the wider press corps.
The action came less than a day after Trump announced that the three organisations would no longer be permitted on White House grounds, escalating his long-running confrontation with sections of the American media.
