Suspended Nollywood Actor Jerry Williams Checks Into Rehab

July 16, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Jerry Williams, has been admitted into rehab. The suspended actor checked into a rehab facility for drug abuse a few days ago.

He is undergoing intensive therapy at an undisclosed rehab centre, to help him concentrate on his health and recovery.

He had been advised earlier to desist from drug abuse but to no avail.

Recall that the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), had announced the indefinite suspension of Jerry Williams over his involvement with drugs.

Emeka Rollas, the national president of the guild, had revealed that Williams ought to have been suspended a long time ago, but the Guild decided to allow him to go through minor treatment, which he didn’t undergo.

Rollas added that the actor was a risk to himself and other actors, who might be acting alongside him on set.

He had to be suspended indefinitely pending when he gets a clean bill of health from a medical practitioner.
