Senate Sets Up Committee On Internal Security, Adjourns Plenary

July 20, (THEWILL) – The Senate, on Thursday, set up an Adhoc committee on the internal security of the National Assembly.

The Committee is to be chaired by Senator Danjuma Goje, an All Progressives Congress Party (APC) member representing Gombe Central.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, announced the constitution of the Committee after about two hours executive session of the red chambers.

Meanwhile, the Senate has adjourned plenary until Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
