His impressive form has drawn plaudits from his teammates, including Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has spoken out in praise of the youngster. As one of the best young English players operating at the moment, Saka would have had offers from across Europe, particularly at a knockdown valuation without a fresh contract.
Arsenal, who are two points clear at the top of the table, with a game in hand on their nearest rivals Manchester City, will travel to Leicester City on Saturday for their next English Premier League match.
