Despite French pressure in the second half, Spain held on for the win. The result ends France’s 13-match unbeaten run in competitive fixtures since the 2022 World Cup final. For Spain, it continues their impressive form, having now won their last eight matches.
Spain will face the winner of the other semi-final between the Netherlands and England in the final in Berlin on Sunday. They will be aiming for their fourth European Championship title, having won three of the four finals they have reached previously.
