June 13, (THEWILL) – More details have emerged, as to the real reason Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe and shoe entrepreneur, Lara Olukotun, engaged in a show of shame on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

THEWILL had earlier reported that the duo were guests of popular clothier, Rhemmygold, who was unveiling her shopping plaza in Lagos.

Some of the other popular guests included Nollywood actresses, Iyabo Ojo, Anita Joseph etc.

According to sources at the event, Lara, otherwise known as Larrit, was the one who started the trouble. She began shading Mercy, calling her unprintable names. But Mercy kept her cool and didn’t respond initially.

As Mercy walked in, the hype man, working with the DJ, announced her presence and she was dancing in response. It was at that point, according to sources, that Larrit increased the tempo of her vulgarity.

Mercy, who couldn’t stomach the insult, retaliated when Lara turned on Mercy’s mum.

It was at that point that Larrit hurled a plastic bottle at Mercy which missed her by whiskers.

A little fracas occurred and the two almost attacked each other physically, but those who were close to them didn’t allow it to happen.

Eventually, Mercy was led away, while Larrit also moved away.

Since Mercy married her movie marketer husband, Kazim Adeoti, aka Adekaz, Larrit has been throwing several shades at her, condemning her for settling down with a married man.

However, people have questioned Larrit on the unnecessary shade, after all she has been known for supporting other women who also hooked up with married men.
