Rahama Sadau Criticises MOPPAN Over Safara’u’s Suspension Following Leaked Video

October 12, (THEWILL) – Actress Rahama Sadau has criticised the Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria, MOPPAN, for suspending her colleague, Safiya Yusuf, aka Safara’u, over her nude video.

The actress was suspended in 2020 when her nude video leaked online.

She granted an interview a few months ago where she narrated her ordeal after the video made it online.

She stated that she had to hide indoors for a while and was stoned when she eventually went out.

Sadau took to social media on Monday to talk about her colleague’s suspension.

According to her, it was her friends who invaded her privacy and leaked her nudes.

She said her suspension was not suitable and the process followed to address her issue was wrong.

The actress noted that Safara’u is human and action taken on her can lead to depression.

She added that after listening to her interview with BBC Hausa, it shows that she is unhappy, stressed and she looked depressed.
