August 01, (THEWILL) – At least seven mass transit buses have been set ablaze by suspected arsonists who attacked the Potiskum Local Government Secretariat in Yobe State on Thursday.
According to an eyewitness, the arsonists invaded the Secretariat in large numbers on Thursday, during the ongoing protest against hunger and economic hardship.
The Spokesman for the Yobe State Police Command, Dungus Abdulkarim, who confirmed the incident, said the perpetrators will be brought to book.
