BEVERLY HILLS, March 26, (THEWILL) – The Presidency Thursday tweeted a photo of President Muhammadu Buhari behind his office desk at State House and dismissed as #Fakenews an audio clip which was widely circulated via WhatsApp messenger saying the President and his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari were secretly flown abroad for coronavirus treatment Wednesday night.
The President has disregarded multiple calls to address Nigerians on national television on the coronavirus pandemic that has so far infected 65 people and disrupted economic and social living.
Buhari and his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo tested negative for the virus but Mr. Kyari tested positive.
