Police Release Shina Peller, Quilox Nightclub Shut Indefinitely

BEVERLY HILLS, December 23, (THEWILL) – The police in Lagos State have released Honourable Shina Peller, the lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State and owner of popular Lagos nightclub, Quilox.

Peller was detained earlier on Monday after police claimed he led thugs to the Maroko Police Station to forcefully release some vehicles confiscated from club patrons because they were blocking the road and causing vehicular traffic.

The Lagos State government Monday shut the nightclub indefinitely for constituting nuisance and disturbing public peace.

THEWILL gathered that Peller was released on administrative bail.
