August 18, (THEWILL) — Patrick Vieira has been appointed as the new head coach of the Senegal national team, opening an important new chapter in the career of one of football’s most recognisable figures.
The former France international and Arsenal captain takes charge of the Teranga Lions at a crucial point in their development, with Senegal looking to maintain their position among Africa’s leading football nations.
