American basketball player, Nneka Ogwumike, showcased an impressive performance leading the Los Angeles Sparks to a thrilling victory against the Phoenix Mercury, with a final score of 99-93 in overtime on Saturday.
June 03, (THEWILL) – The game reached a tense climax during overtime when, with just 1:03 remaining, Lexie Brown swished her third 3-pointer of the match, expanding the Sparks’ lead to 95-91. Jordin Canada also contributed significantly to the Sparks’ triumph, recording 16 points and five assists.

Ogwumike’s stellar stats included 21 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists, solidifying her pivotal role in the team’s success. It was a historic occasion as she became the all-time steal leader for the Los Angeles Sparks.
