August 05, (THEWILL) – Favour Ofili has qualified for the women’s 200m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The talented sprinter finished second in her semi-final heat with a season-best time of 22.05 seconds, booking an automatic spot in the final.
Ofili ran an impressive race from lane 6, finishing behind only Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia, who won the heat in 21.98 seconds. The Nigerian athlete showed great form, improving on her previous season best of 22.22 seconds set in the preliminary round.
