No Issues, It’s A Mild Misstep, Says Presidency As Tinubu Slip While Climbing Parade Truck At Eagles Square

June 13, (THEWILL) – The Presidency has allayed fears about President Bola Tinubu over the incident that happened at Eagles Square on Wednesday, June 12.

The President had missed his step and tripped while boarding a parade truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration at Eagles Square in Abuja.

Although President Tinubu quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings, a video of the incident went viral on social media, generating public reactions about Mr. President’s fitness.

However, Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, in a post on his X, said it was a mild misstep. No issues, he added.

“Mr. President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues,” the post read.
