Nigeria’s COVID-19 Numbers Hit 59, 000 Mark An Active Cases Reach 7, 378

BEVERLY HILLS, October 1, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s confirmed coronavirus cases Thursday reached 59, 001 after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 153 new cases across 14 states.

The country now has 50, 452 recoveries with fatalities static at 1, 112 Thursday.

Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, topped with 81 new infections, while Rivers State reported 21 and the FCT posted 11. Kaduna recorded 7, Oyo 6 and Akwa Ibom 5.
