Nigeria’s Coronavirus Cases Up By 103 To 59, 841

BEVERLY HILLS, October 08, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s total coronavirus cases has risen to 59, 841 according to data released on Thursday by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, after 103 new cases were reported across 13 States of the federation.

The Nigerian infectious disease agency also put total recoveries at 51, 551 with total fatalities unchanged at 1, 113 having recording no death from the pandemic in at least 5 days.

Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country recording 39 new cases with Rivers State posting 21, while the FCT posted 19 and Oyo 6. See below for a full breakdown.

The NCDC says it has tested 545, 364 samples as at October 7, 2020.
