August 28, (THEWILL) – A Canadian-based Nigerian woman has threatened to kill Yoruba and Benin people in Canada.
THEWILL reports that the woman, reportedly based in Ontario, Canada, had in a viral TikTok live video, vowed to start poisoning foods and waters of Yoruba and Benin people at her place of work.
She also asked people of the South-East region of Nigeria, popularly known as Igbos, to develop a hard heart against Yorubas and Benins by poisoning their foods and waters anywhere they see them.
Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who confirmed this on Wednesday, identified the lady as Amaka Patience Sunnberger.
An X user had called the attention of the Nigerian government to the threat by the Igbo lady on a TikTok group discussion to the alleged threat to poison Yoruba and Benin people in Canada.
The X user, Dami Adenuga, while sharing the audio of the Tiktok group chart, said, “A very disturbing video of some Nigerians on Tiktok planning the death of other Nigerians in Canada. This post is for awareness purposes only. Be careful out there folks”
Dabiri-Erewa responded with the picture of the lady who made the threat while identifying her as Amaka Patience Sunnberger.
The NIDCOM boss also revealed that she has since deleted her Tiktok account.
“This is the picture of the lady behind the voice. Amaka Patience Sunnberger. She has deleted her TikTok account and a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting her officially to the relevant authorities in Canada”, Dabiri-Erewa said in an X post on Wednesday.
