Nigeria Set To Send First Citizen To Space

June 19, (THEWILL)- The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), on Wednesday, said Nigeria is set to send her first citizen to space.

This followed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NASRDA and the Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA).

Speaking at a news conference in Abuja on Wednesday, NASRDA Director General, Dr. Mathew Adepoju, said the collaboration marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s 25th anniversary of Space Exploration journey.

“This collaboration, which is coming to the country, marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s 25th anniversary of Space Exploration journey and opens new opportunities for scientific research and technological advancement,” Adepoju noted.
