Nigeria Records 325 New Cases Of COVID-19

BEVERLY HILLS, August 15, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Saturday reported 325 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the tally in the West African nation to 48, 770 with 36, 290 recoveries and 974 deaths (4 new).

According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic, posted 87 new cases while the FCT added 49. See below for a full breakdown.

The NCDC, which had earlier ascribed a significant reduction in the number of available samples as reason for the low number of cases, say it has tested 347, 545 samples as at August 14, 2020.
