July 06, (THEWILL) – Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, half of Nigeria sensational singing twins, Psquare, has taken to social media to lament about the state of the nation.
The singer made it known that Nigerian has not experienced any appreciable progress for quite a while now.
He added that the only progress the country is recording is in the entertainment industry. And it is so because the government don’t have any control over it.
He said it is worrisome that the only aspect moving forward is the one the government cannot lay it’s hands on.
“Nigeria is totally backward, the only thing moving forward is music and entertainment.
“Imagine the only thing that is moving forward in Nigeria is something that the government are not in control of”, he stated.
His outburst is coming at a time when so many challenges are befalling the country.
Many have been killed in their homes and places of worship. While the rate of kidnapping and incessant killing has been on the rise.
The economy has also been badly hit and many are finding it extremely difficult to cope with the situation in the country.
