A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, (SAN), has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje and former spokesperson of the Senate, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, on their emergence as the party’s new National Chairman and National Secretary, respectively.

THEWILL recalls that Ganduje and Bashiru were confirmed as the National Chairman and National Secretary of the APC at the meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee, NEC, held last Thursday in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja. They were elected to replace former National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and former National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, both of whom recently resigned from their positions.

In a congratulatory message to the new APC Chairman and Secretary, Ndoma-Egba, a former Senate Leader and former Chairman of Campaign Planning Directorate of the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 election, said, “I congratulate His Excellency, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Ajibola Bashiru on their emergence as National Chairman and National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, respectively. They are emerging at a critical time in the history of our great party and nation. They have the historic challenge of entrenching internal democracy in the party, ensuring party unity, formulating a proper reward system for party faithfulness and fidelity to the electorate by holding our government to its promises to the electorate and a better life for all Nigerians. I wish them well in their new responsibilities.”
