June 5, (THEWILL)- Napoli have turned to the experienced Antonio Conte to lead their team, announcing on Wednesday that the Italian has been appointed manager on a three-year contract until 2027. Conte makes a return to Serie A after a one-year break following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.
The 54-year-old takes over a Napoli side that drastically underperformed last season, meekly surrendering their Serie A title by finishing a disappointing 10th.
