April 08, (THEWILL) – Former Tottenham and Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is reportedly being offered 120 million euros to take charge of the Saudi Arabian national team, according to Spanish newspaper, Marca.

The two-year deal would see him replace Herve Renard, who left the position to take charge of the French female national team ahead of the 2023 Women’s World Cup. However, if Mourinho is not interested in the international scene, there are options at club level, including the potential to replace Rudi Garcia at Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.

Mourinho has reportedly discussed the matter with his coaching staff and is currently waiting for a meeting with Ryan Friedkin before making any decisions. However, the offers do not stop there. If Mourinho is not interested in coaching at the international or the top level, he would also be offered the chance to coach Al-Ahli, who are currently leading the second division.

It remains to be seen what the Portuguese coach’s decision will be. Mourinho, who is currently coaching Roma, has expressed his desire to stay in the Italian capital. Still, he is reportedly waiting for a meeting with the club’s owner, Ryan Friedkin, before making any decisions.

The question of whether he will choose to stay in Rome, move to Saudi Arabia, or take on a different coaching challenge will ultimately be known before next season kicks off.
