July 08, (THEWILL) – Jude Abaga, aka MI Abaga, has stated that he will be changing his stage name, Mr Incredible Abaga (MI).
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Abaga said he will also be announcing his new stage name when he put out his new album.
The rapper said he will be using MI Abaga for the last time on July 10, during a performance.
“After over 15 years as mister incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and taking on a new name for my new project because, my new album hard af and it deserves a new name”, he wrote.
“My final act as MI will be a performance at The Vibe on the 10th of July, where I will celebrate my legacy as Africa’s greatest rapper.”
Not long after announcing his engagement to his partner, MI said his next album, which he described as a “classic” project, might win a Grammy award.
“And now that that’s all over…music coming soon. Now I can focus so I release this album properly,” he had written.
