May 17, (THEWILL) – The Methodist Bishop Of Atamunu Diocese, Rt. Rev. Otuekong Ukut, Ph.D, has donated educational materials worth millions of naira to two schools in Cross River State.
The materials, which include books and several writing materials, were donated to Pupil Methodist Church, Ikot Omin and Susana Wesley Secondary School, Atamunu, Calabar, Cross River State capital.
Distributing the educational materials, Rt. Rev. Ukut charged the benefitting schools to be serious with their studies so that they can excel in their academic pursuit and come out with flying colours.
“I see great potential in you people. In this midst, I see a lot of you who are growing up to become engineers, lawyers and doctors.
“I see civil and computer engineers among you pupils. I charged you all to be serious with your academic work. Desist forth from telling lies, and obey your parents and teachers if you want your dreams to be actualised.
“Let me make it clear to you that if you read hard with good behaviour and attain higher education, the good things of life, which you so desire, can be achieved without hitch,” he said.
Speaking on behalf of the schools, the Headteacher of Susana Wesley Schools, Mrs. Hodo Ofem, expressed their gratitude for the educational materials donated to them.
