April 03, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has embraced Islam, her husband’s religion and also unveiled her Muslim name.
The mother of two, who is the second wife of Kazim Adeoti, a movie marketer and businessman, announced to the public that she is now Hajia Meenah.
The actress was a Christian before she married Adeoti and adopted his religion.
She announced her new name during the special prayer/lecture organised by her husband to celebrate Ramadan. The event took place on Saturday, in Lagos State.
Some of her Muslim colleagues were in attendance to also grace the occasion.
