June 16, (THEWILL)- Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, founder of Kingsway International Christian Center, KICC, has unveiled a N6 billion luxurious Water Display Park in his real estate facility in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State called Makarios Luxury Place in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State. A first of its kind in Africa, Ashimolowo revealed that the concept was not only borne out of what he saw in Dubai during the COVID-19 pandemic but also the need to create a leisure spot for his grandchildren who were always bored whenever they came to Nigeria on holidays.
By extension, it is also a tourist place for many people who desire to come to Nigeria, particularly Lagos, as there aren’t many places that tourists can visit. The Makarios Water Display is an uncommon and unusual water display that thrills visitors with nothing short of visual appeal while also mesmerising the mind and the spirit.
It is one of the few water displays in the world that has a water screen in the middle. Spanning an impressive 6,000 square meters, the park boasts a blend of cutting-edge technology and designs. It also features dancing water synchronised with music and enhanced by laser lights. But the park’s allure doesn’t stop there; holographic projections transform water into captivating screens, creating a magical atmosphere reminiscent of a fairy tale. The water display is just one out of many features that his real estate facility will boast of at completion.
Recall that THEWILL had reported that when Ashimolowo isn’t preaching the gospel, he spends time developing his vast real estate portfolio as the chairman of Makarios Luxury Properties Limited. The televangelist is one of the biggest landowners in Lagos, although he has been acquiring real estate from the age of 27, expanding it to include about 900 acres of land in the Mowe area of Ogun State where he built six estates before moving on to Ibeju Lekki coastal area of Lagos.
Besides owning several properties in Pinnoch Estate,  Lagos, where he lives, in a luxurious smart-enabled mansion, he also owns large acres of land scattered around Lagos where he is making a kill. His Makarios Luxury Properties called Makarios: The Luxury Place, is a dream city as he would like to call it, a world class project, an absolutely outstanding luxury place to live in that he hopes will rival the Dubai Marina. It is 95 acres of land where many rich people are now buying service plots. The estate, which is being constructed by a German company, will feature about 11 number, ten floor high rise buildings, 192 terrace houses, 18 detached houses at completion.
